The 32Bit version will only install on 32Bit Operating systems and the 64Bit version will only install on 64Bit operating systems.
The 64Bit version includes support for both the 32Bit and 64Bit Internet Explorer browsers
installed on your 64Bit windows platform and will automatically install both for your
ease of use.
Depending upon the Windows operating system you are using and its configuration, you may be presented several security prompts when downloading and installing Image Surfer Pro.
The first question will ask you if you want to Run or Save the download file. Either
option works - however, if you save the file you can uninstall and reinstall the software any time you
desire without re-downloading the file. Purchasing the registered version of Image Surfer Pro grants you
only two downloads. It is strongly recommended you save the installation file. Upgrades to Windows or
Internet Explorer will require you to uninstall and re-install Image Surfer Pro. Make your choice when
presented with the following window at the bottom of the browser:
The second question will come after the download is complete (or when you double click on the installation
file if you saved it). This question is asking if you trust the unknown publisher of the software. To
continue with the installation, you must choose run from the following window:
The Image Surfer Pro installation screen will ask you to review and accept the end user software license
agreement. Please take a moment to read the agreement before agreeing and selecting Next at the following
prompt:
If you have the added security of Microsoft's User Access Control enabled, your screen will gray out and
you will be presented with an option to Allow or Cancel. Depending upon the operating system you are using
this prompt may take different forms from what is presented here. In all cases, choose Allow,
Continue, or Yes.
Once the Image Surfer Pro installer is allowed to continue you will see a dialog updating you on the
progress of the installation. After the installation completes the installer will ask you to "Finish"
the installation with the following prompt:
If this is your first installation and not an upgrade, Internet Explorer will be opened to a help page on the
Image Surfer Pro website which will help you make sure you can access the Image Surfer Pro extension bar. Please
read the information carefully and assure you know how to access your new software before closing the browser or
surfing to a different site.
Instructions on activating and accessing
Image Surfer Pro from within Internet Explorer can be found here in the same document that was displayed when
the installation completed.
